The CancerGrid Scientific Steering Committee is composed of representatives of the funders and senior oncologists, to ensure the project remains focused on goals which will have meaningful research impact on the understanding and treatment of cancer.
The Project Board oversees the management and technical aspects of the project and its progress against the project plan, and is composed of a mixture of senior computing and oncology researchers. The Project Board is composed of workpackage leads and a manager representing each department.
The Workpackage Leads are responsible for the technical specification of the project deliverables and have the final say on technical and architectural decisions.
